Recipe of the week – Tan Rosie’s Garlic & Pepper Chicken

From time to time, we just want to escape the grey clouds and cold winds, and find ourselves in the warm and blue beaches of the caribbean… OK so we never ACTUALLY get to do that, but Tan Rosie knows how to bring the heat and flavour from caribbean food to the UK. Her range of hot sauces are  HOT and will definitely spice up any dish.

She has shared her homemade Garlic & Pepper Chicken recipe, which bring an intensely flavoursome burn you won’t forget very quickly! Try doshing a bit more than the recommended 1 tbsp of the Garlic and Pepper sauce to really fire the chicken up!

Tan Rosie’s Garlic & Pepper Chicken

What you need

4 Chicken portions or 1kg chicken wings/legs
1 tbsp Olive oil
1 tbsp Soya sauce
1 tbsp Tan Rosie’s Garlic & Pepper Sauce (HOT)
Pinch of salt and pepper
1 Garlic clove finely chopped
1 Shallot finely chopped

How to

  • Make a couple of slashes on each chicken portion
  • Place chicken in a bowl
  • Next massage the mixture into the chicken pieces
  • Leave for a couple of hours or overnight preferably
  • Place in a baking tray and cook for 40 minutes or until cooked on gas mark 7
  • Serve with basmati rice and a green salad
